Opportunity Labs Terms of Service

Our service

Opportunity Labs helps creators analyze their content, audience engagement, and related signals to discover products that may fit their audience. We provide research, analysis, and recommendations to inform your decisions, not to make those decisions for you.

Your account and connected platforms

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized account access. Connect only accounts you own or are authorized to manage.

Where integrations are available, you may connect supported platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other services. By connecting a platform, you authorize Opportunity Labs to access and process only the information permitted by that integration and the permissions you grant, for the requested service functions. You can revoke access through the platform's available controls. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, and our Data Deletion & Privacy Requests page explains how to request deletion.

Your decisions and responsibilities

You remain responsible for the products you promote, the content you create, and any claims or disclosures you make. Review relevant information before acting. You must comply with applicable laws, including advertising and affiliate-disclosure requirements, and the terms and policies of connected platforms. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit content for analysis.

Opportunity Labs does not guarantee views, engagement, sales, conversions, commissions, revenue, earnings, or other results. Audience fit and research findings are not promises of product performance. Automated analysis may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Third-party information and services

Product details, prices, availability, engagement metrics, market information, and other third-party information may change, be delayed, or be incomplete. Verify important details with the relevant marketplace or source. Third-party platforms and services operate independently from Opportunity Labs and may change or discontinue their APIs, data, functionality, or access. Their own terms apply to your use of their services, and those changes may affect features available here.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful purposes, infringe others' rights, attempt unauthorized access, bypass access restrictions, introduce malicious software, or interfere with the service or other users. Do not misuse connected-platform data or use the service to violate a platform's policies.

Your content and our intellectual property

You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited, nonexclusive permission to host, copy, process, and analyze the content you provide or authorize us to access, and to use service providers for those purposes, only as needed to deliver the service you request. This does not transfer ownership of your content to Opportunity Labs.

Opportunity Labs and its licensors retain their rights in the service's software, design, branding, and other materials, excluding your content and third-party materials. These Terms permit you to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of it or grant rights to use our branding without permission.

Ending access and service changes

You may stop using the service at any time and contact us to request account closure or data deletion. We may restrict or end access for a material violation of these Terms, security risks, or legal requirements. We may also change or discontinue the service. Where reasonably practical, we will give notice of a suspension or discontinuation and an opportunity to address a violation. Immediate action may be necessary to protect users, the service, or comply with law. Information retained after account closure is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We aim to provide a useful, reliable service, but provide it "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation or that research results will be accurate, complete, or suitable for every decision.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Opportunity Labs LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities, arising from use of the service. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies that applicable law protects.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. We will post the updated Terms here and revise the effective date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the service or available account contact information, unless an immediate change is required for legal or security reasons. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them; if you disagree, stop using the service.
