Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, we may collect or process:

• Account and contact information. When accounts or support features are available, this may include your name, email address, account identifiers, and communications with us.
• Creator-supplied content and information. This may include videos you choose to provide, captions, titles, platform information, engagement metrics, product information, and other context you submit for analysis.
• Generated and inferred analysis. Our services may create transcripts, sample frames from videos, structured observations, Creator Intelligence results, product research results, comparisons, scores, and recommendations. These are generated or inferred outputs, not creator-supplied facts, and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
• Product research information. This may include search queries, product identifiers, marketplace information, research inputs, provider results, and evidence used to evaluate products.
• Third-party platform information. If you connect or use a supported service, we may receive information that the platform makes available under your authorization and the permissions granted to our application.
• Technical information. We and our service providers may process IP addresses, device or browser information, request data, security records, and limited logs or diagnostics needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service.

How we use information

We use information to:

• provide product research, creator analysis, and requested recommendations;
• process creator content and generate transcripts, sampled frames, observations, and other requested results;
• connect with supported marketplaces and research services at your direction;
• operate, maintain, secure, test, and improve the service;
• respond to questions, support requests, and privacy requests;
• prevent misuse and investigate security or reliability problems; and
• meet applicable legal, contractual, and business obligations.

Creator content and generated analysis

Creator-supplied videos, captions, metrics, and other inputs remain distinct from the analysis our systems generate from them. Generated transcripts, sampled frames, observations, profiles, research, scores, and recommendations are analytical outputs and should not be treated as verified statements about a person or guaranteed predictions of performance.

We do not design Creator Intelligence to identify people by face or infer sensitive traits such as race or ethnicity, religion, health, disability, sexual orientation, political views, or precise location.

Service providers and third-party platforms

We use service providers and external APIs to help host and operate the application, perform AI-based transcription and analysis, obtain product and marketplace information, conduct product research, and support platform connections. Depending on the feature, these services may include hosting providers, AI providers, and Amazon, Google or YouTube, and TikTok services.

We provide these services only the information reasonably needed for the requested function. Their handling of information may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate.

Our service may link to third-party websites or marketplaces. We do not control the privacy practices of those third parties.

Advertising, marketing, and sale of information

Opportunity Labs does not currently sell personal information or use personal information to deliver third-party targeted advertising. Our current product research integrations, including advertising-market research services, are used to evaluate products and search activity rather than to target advertising to our users.

We may use contact information to respond to you and send service-related communications. If we later offer optional marketing communications, we will provide an appropriate way to opt out and update this policy if our practices materially change.

Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for security, sessions, preferences, and third-party authorization flows. The current application does not use these technologies for third-party targeted advertising.

Data retention and deletion

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including to provide the service, maintain necessary business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or contractual obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and feature used.

We seek to remove temporary creator-video artifacts after processing when they are no longer needed. Information may remain for a limited period in provider systems, logs, or backups where immediate deletion is not technically practical. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer required, subject to legitimate legal, accounting, security, and dispute-related needs.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service and information. No method of storage, processing, or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy choices and requests

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information associated with you, or ask a question about our privacy practices. Available rights can depend on where you live and whether an exception applies. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.

Children's privacy

Our service is intended for creators and businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. We may provide additional notice when a change is material.
